Take a guess what word is most important for your fitness goals?
I’ll give you a hint – its not intensity.
The one word that is most important to your fitness goal. The word that you should focus on above and beyond anything else – is consistency.
It doesn’t matter how hard and fast you move toward your goals if you are not focusing on being consistent.
Would it be better to workout at 100% effort 2-3 times a week, or workout at 80% effort 4-5 times a week? It is far more important to be consistent, then it is to to be intense.
We are a production of what we repeatedly do – day in and day out.
Being consistent will help us succeed. Intensity will help lead us to injury or burnout.
As much as we want to think that how hard we do something will give us better results – that is just not the case in reality.
Our bodies can only handle so much. We need to steadily increase our intensity so the body can adjust to our new routines.
Pushing yourself past what the muscles, joints and ligaments can handle is a recipe for disaster.
You may be able to get away with it -but for how long? It is not worth stressing the body to its maximum capacity, leading yourself to take longer to heal and recover and longer to progress.
The most important thing you can do for yourself and your fitness goals – is to stay consistent.

This is something I have struggled with personally. It’s always a couple weeks on a week off. Thank you for this.
Life is not always easy, and that makes it hard to stick to our goals. Be kind and patient with yourself. But we want to remember to also stay disciplined. A short workout, is better than no workout. Thank you so much for your comment Rebecca, I hope you stay consistent to reach your goasl!
Yes! Sometimes just being consistent about working out is the hardest part. Looking forward to more information and motivation from you 😁
